| The Condiments |
Denver and Boulder have developed a serious "patio" culture. The weather helps create a state of mind where the locals insist on almost always being outside. If someone owns a restaurant, if they can they add a patio. With over 300 days of sunshine and basically speaking pretty amazing weather we enjoy eating outside. This week I went to my second Stueben's Picnic on the Patio. A family style 5 course meal with drink parings for $50 dollars. That is not a typo, I spent $50 (plus tip of course!) This was a wonderful chance to eat, drink, and meet really nice people who enjoy their food. Stuebens is located at 523 E. 17th Ave in Denver. Each picnic on the patio has a theme this one was an homage to the Cape.

Drink #3 (got lost in the shuffle)
As you can see the night was fabulous! There was an additional course (sausage and potatoes), but I didn't include that picture because I didn't think the picture turned out well. Go there, let Stuebens feed you. |
