Denver Ciclovia 2012

What is a Ciclovia?? It is an opportunity to create a space for riding bikes throughout an urban area. In Denver this will take place for the second time in the Park Hill Neighborhood. Wikipedia notes that the concept originated in Bogata, Columbia. What a wonderful way to get people to ride, walk, take their children out and engage with one another. This is the second year for this event. I will be checking it out tomorrow. It should be fun. Denver Ciclovia

Quick Update:
It was great watching everyone ride their cruiser bikes around. Adults, children, entire families! It was great. If you get chance and there is one in your city-go! My mom and I had a fantastic time. I did wish there were more food trucks though:) Maybe next year.
