I cannot tell you how many times I have seen people walk away from their stuff. We have crime here. Really. People will steal your stuff. The owner of the Mac on the table walked out of the Starbucks that we were in for about 5 minutes before returning. He never asked the guy sitting next to him to watch the computer (a proven technique to get people to watch your stuff). Luckily, we're all honest.
