Ironwood

Broadway Street is a busy place lined with interesting stores that have popped up during years of gentrification. Shoppers can find independent stores holding gorgeous clothes, hipsters can find music to dance the night away, and foodies can experience sublime moments of culinary happiness. This Spring I was walking down the street avoiding the shoppers and  panhandles when I saw what could only be described as an oasis of calm. A store of such simple beauty that I had to go inside. Floors of wood, succulent plants, glass bottles, and beautiful pieces of art to fill one's home with. Ironwood.  As I walked into the store I felt relaxed and...happy. Calm. How could Broadway that has so much energy hold a store that creates such a chilled out feeling? Go there, be calm, buy stuff.
